This old spiritually significant fig tree reminds us that growth happens when we become aware of the roots that shape our lives. When we open our minds and connect to what grounds us; meaningful relationships, culture, creativity, learning, spirituality, values, our dreams, and even times of stillness and solitude, we tap into our innate wisdom that guides our growth and we can make more conscientious choices toward healthier and more resilient living.
When life gets tough, which it very often does and very much is for this entire world, think about what kind of impact you can have, if you can be willing. We have the innate ability to weed out patterns that have stifled our growth and we can reshape our choices, interconnect and nourish others and grow in harmony with this planet below, above and all around.
And then, like fruits falling from trees we pass down our legacies to the next generation, planting seeds and shaping their life stories.
Reflect on how you want to stand up for your own life and for this world. How do you want to be revisited and remembered? What do you want to teach your children about how you’ve taken care of yourself and valued life? When we look within and stand tall, we can each contribute to creating an abundant future for all.
