Ghassan Aboud Holding was honored to meet with His Excellency Paul Kagame , under the leadership of Chairman Ghassan Aboud, to align on a number of strategic investment initiatives that reflect the Group’s long-term vision for sustainable expansion and enduring partnerships across Africa.
The discussions covered the establishment of a regional automotive and equipment hub serving Rwanda as well as Central, East, and West Africa, supporting infrastructure development and strengthening cross-border supply chains. Agreements were also reached to import fruits, coffee, tea, and flowers, with these products to be integrated into the Abu Dhabi Food Hub, enhancing trade connectivity between Africa and the UAE.
In parallel, the parties agreed to establish a pharmaceutical distribution company, to be operated by Gaelan Pharmaceutical, a portfolio company of Ghassan Aboud Holding, aimed at improving efficiency, resilience, and access within regional healthcare supply chains.
The meeting further explored hospitality investment opportunities, including the development of two five-star hotels in Kigali and a network of four luxury resorts within protected wildlife areas, aligned with the international expansion strategy of Crystalbrook Collection, the Group’s luxury hospitality brand headquartered in Australia.
With strong governance and progressive economic policies, Rwanda stands out as one of Africa’s most promising investment destinations, closely aligned with Ghassan Aboud Holding’s vision for sustainable growth and long-term investment. Through these initiatives, the Group continues to reinforce its position as a globally active organization, contributing to sustainable economic development and strengthening international partnership networks.
