There are four types of licenses in the UAE DHA - (Granted by the Dubai Health Authority) Following passing the DHA assessment, the medical healthcare professional can obtain their license and practice their profession in the Emirate of Dubai only. Depending on the healthcare professional's category The DHA assessment can be either: • Computer Based Testing (CBT-Prometric) or • Oral assessment HAAD – (Granted by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi) This license allows you to practice in the cities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. We are still in the process of gathering data to assist with the registration process for HAAD, however, we are not offering the facility to complete the registration on your behalf. If you have any questions relating to obtaining a HAAD license, we will be happy to answer. MOH - (Granted by the Ministry of Health) This entitles the holder to practice anywhere in the UAE apart from the Emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. For example Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah. DHCC - (Issued by Dubai Health Care City-a free zone) A separate license by Harvard International.
