“I just can’s stop eating!”

That’s what u see on the surface.

You’ve been told that you just need more willpower to stop overeating.

That’s a lie!

Discipline isn’t the problem.

The real issue?

🚩 Pushing through exhaustion instead of resting
🚩 Swallowing negativity instead of expressing emotions
🚩 Tolerating discomfort instead of listening to your body’s needs
🚩 Depriving yourself of food, only to end up overeating later
🚩 Using food for energy instead of taking breaks
🚩 Seeking joy only through food instead of other fulfilling activities.

Overeating isn’t just about food: it’s about how you’re navigating daily life.

When I started working with my body instead of against it, my need to overeat naturally faded.

Here’s how I help my clients do the same:
✅ Identify the hidden triggers behind their overeating
✅ Develop a deeper connection with their body
✅ Recognize emotional turbulence before cravings hit
✅ Learn to interpret their body’s signals with clarity
✅ Calm their nervous system without turning to food
✅ Release tension and emotions instead of suppressing them
✅ Prioritize self-care, without guilt

When you attend to the true needs of your body, overeating loses its grip.

💡 If this resonates, stay tuned. I have something special coming soon.

“Diets please do your magic 🪄 ”

5 things diets don’t fix:

1️⃣ Living in your mind and being disconnected from your body sensations: You treat your body like a machine, pushing through beyond your body’s capacity while ignoring signs of fatigue

2️⃣ Hating and fighting with your body and pretending it does not exist

3️⃣ Emotional suppression: Swallowing your emotions and pushing yourself to rise above them

4️⃣ Sleep and rest deprivation: Having resistance to slow down

5️⃣ Using food as your only pleasure: food energizes you when tired, distracts you in unpleasant situations, and consoles you when lonely.

Diets can make you slim down
But they can’t teach you self-care to move your body from turbulence to tranquility.

📣 Join Tranquil Body, a 5-week live online program that teaches you how to attend to your self-care and manage your stress outside of food, starting next monday

5 questions to ask yourself before you start another diet

Did you know that chronic stress is the secret behind your overeating?

Your body is screaming for relief, and food is the easiest way to calm the storm.

Here are four ways I wouldn’t recommend to slim down:

Here are 5 five questions I would invite you to ask yourself before you start another diet:

1. How do I truly feel in my body: an enemy, a distant stranger, or a best friend?

2. What would my body tell me if it could speak?

3. What are some of the ways I have treated my body well?

4. What are some of the ways I have abused my body?

5. What would I like to tell my body right now?

Comment below what comes out.

What overeaters are not doing to slim down

1) Not using food to relax: they learn new ways to calm down and release stress

2) Not working non-stop: they notice their stress level and give themselves permission to pause

3) Not in their mind all the time: they are learning to be present inside their bodies

4) Not fighting with their cravings: they are getting curious about their discomfort as a sign that their body needs a break

Things that actually make you slim down

Wouldn’t it be nice to go into the rest of 2024 knowing that you don’t have to worry about eating less and exercising more?

I learned this the hard way

Spending 40 precious years of my life trying to use all of my willpower to control my eating
↳ wondering why things were under control in life except my eating???
❌ Moderation did not work and I felt baad!

I hated exercising
↳ I labeled myself lazy not realizing that whenever I am stressed my nervous system goes to freeze making my body heavy
❌ In my ignorance, I subjected myself to exercise torture which meant I could not sustain exercising for long

Would you like to learn from my mistakes?

This is what will actually make you slim down

1️⃣ Connecting to your BODY
= your body is craving for connection and care
↳ Befriending your body will involve improving your body awareness so that you can detect signs of stress early on and manage them before they lead you to binge eating

2️⃣ Nourishing yourself with FOOD
= eating what your body needs rather than what activates your brain cravings
↳ Having 4 meals a day and eating an abundance of vegetables, fruits and protein

3️⃣ Flourishing in LIFE
= finding pleasure outside of food
↳ Familiarizing your body with pleasure through your eyes, nose, ears and skin

📣 Connecting to your body is missing from weight loss conversations

I want to help u stop fighting with your hunger and body so that you begin detecting and manging stress early on without the need to binge.

I’ve created a free body connection guide for overeaters just for u.

Here’s why you are not losing weight:

Overeating isn’t about hunger: it’s your body crying out for connection.

The battle you’re fighting isn’t with food, but with your body’s need for care.

I’ve been helping overeaters like you for few years now.

I’ve realized that there is a missing pillar in weight loss conversations: YOUR CONNECTION TO YOUR BODY

By that, I mean having a stronger connection with yourself that allows you to start understanding your body’s true needs

Fighting your body to slim down is a losing battle. Befriending your body is where real transformation begins.

Want to know how to move from fighting to befriending your body?

My body connection guide teaches you the warning signs of body disconnection and the impact of fighting with your body on your overeating. Plus you get to try a meditation that has you experience what it really means to connect to your body.

I wrote my book: “Beyond the Emptiness: How I found fullness outside of food” during covid as my gift of hope to overeaters fighting with their bodies and looking for a new perspective on slimming down.

I was an overeater for the 1st 40 years of my life and I dreamt of eating less and slimming down. I faced so many disappointments. I would lose weight only to regain it back, further hating my body for constantly betraying me.

Through my story, I want readers to understand that overeating is a response to unaddressed childhood issues. I share how healing my relationship with my body, food and life has allowed me to lose 1/3 of my weight and sustain it for 7 years now.

I now have an intimate and affectionate connection with myself. I am able to detect early signs of stress and slow down. I feed myself wholesome food that neutralizes my appetite and find pleasure in a wide range of small things that bring fulfillment in all aspects of my being.

Beyond the Emptiness is available for purchase online, dm me the work book and i’ll send u a link.
