This picture is showing the difference between veneers with layering technique and staining technique. Veneers with Layering technique composed of many layers of ceramics built layer by layer to give the natural look 👀 of the teeth.
While, staining technique composed of one layer of a ceramic colored with spacial ceramic’s color to give the desired look.
At the end, layering technique is more expensive than staining technique because it requires higher sophisticated techniques, it needs more time, and effort from the lab team😊.

Patient has a class lll skeleton. She did an ortho treatment but her case needs an ortho surgery to fix class lll to class l. The patient and her parents were completely refusing to do the surgery.
After patient finished from her braces, she decided to do veneers and fix her cross bite.
Patient went to a dentist 🦷 and did the veneers.
After one year patient came to me, she wasn’t satisfy from her veneers shape, shade and the protrusion that she had from upper veneers because of the jaw position. In Addition, she was suffering from mouth odor.
In the first visit I advices patient to do the ortho surgery but she refused completely.
I redo her veneers with natural shade and and tried to put the prosthetic parts on a better position which doesn’t affect her bite or her veneers.

Dental impression is one of the most important steps in dental work. In this stage the dentist is transferring a copy of dental preparation, teeth, soft tissue, and the occlusion to the lab (a copy of patient’s oral cavity). Dental lab will fabricate the prosthetic part based on this impression and some extra information which dentist provided it too.
