It is for the info of supervisors and trainees of fellowship and membership programs in Obstetrics and Gynecology of CPSP that following changes have been made regarding mandatory workshops:

- Instead of ATLS, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) course shall be mandatory for the supervisors of the training programs of CPSP in Obstetrics and Gynecology with immediate effect.
- The supervisors who could not pass ATLS course are entitled to attend and pass ALSO course for the first time.
- ALSO course shall also be mandatory for the trainees from 1st Jan 2016. Presently it is available for trainees who wish to do it voluntarily on payment.
- The registration fee for ALSO course for both supervisors and trainees will be Rs. 20,000.
- The supervisors who have already done or are registered for ATLS course will be entitled for registration to the ALSO course without any further charges.
- The supervisors from Punjab province shall pay Rs. 10,000 for registration to ALSO course while the remaining amount will be paid by the government of punjab till the available budget.

Last tuesday our delegation met the Pakistani embassy crew in kabul,
Accroding to them the embassy staff is in routine exchange with new staff this week as soon they got settled they will start issuing visas proecessing on priorty for Afghan doctors students and reaidents.
