🌸 What is Allergy?
An allergy is the body’s abnormal immune reaction to substances that are usually harmless to most people. These substances, called allergens, can be found in food, dust, pollen, pet dander, insect stings, or certain medications.
When a person with allergies is exposed to an allergen, the immune system mistakenly identifies it as a threat and releases chemicals like histamine, causing allergic symptoms.
