Founded in June 2006, Jawad Fastidious Translating Association (JFTA) is a beacon of professional translation services in Afghanistan.
The company was conceptualized at Kabul University’s campus in cooperation with the faculty of Journalism and Communication School. Locally registered with the Afghan Ministry of Information and Culture, JFTA has more than 13 years of experience in translation services (English to Afghan languages of Pashto and Dari and vice versa).
Through its expertise in translation services and extensive experience in the area, it has managed to build loyalty and long-term close professional relationship with a great number of national and international clients, such as the World Bank, UNDP, USGS, European Union, IWPR, USAID, Tetra Tech, Internews Europe, UNO, to name but a few.
JFTA provides professional translation and interpretation services in various disciplines, including management, journalism, law, healthcare, economy, agriculture, water and sanitation, construction, and banking.
JFTA has recently completed translation project of a number of significant textbooks to the University of Nebraska Omaha. The project covered the English into Pashto and Dari translation of a dozen professional journalism and communication textbooks to the Afghan public universities. These textbooks have included:
