Nimroz BPHS & EPHS Medical Refresher Courses for Afghans (MRCA) is a nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to reduce human suffering.

We respond to natural disasters, humanitarian emergencies and chronic poverty. We are non-sectarian and non-political. MRCA has been delivering life-saving healthcare in Afghanistan since 1993, establishing and operating health centres in partnership with the Afghan Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). Over the past 14 years, MRCA has worked in nine provinces (Kabul, Paktya, Logar, Wardak, Farah, Par

wan, Baghlan, Balkh and Kapisa). Since 2018, MRCA has partnered with the Afghanistan Ministry of Public Health to provide the basic package of health services (BPHS) and essential package of hospital services (EPHS) in Nimroz province. In Nimroz, MRCA/RI manages one provincial hospital, 18 health facilities, 140 health posts and 420 CHWs and health promoters. This account has been created to share information with communities in Nimroz about health services.
