Good Morning,
Yesterday, Friday April 3rd, 2026, was one of the most difficult moments in our team: our OncoMed268 office at Gambles Medical Center suffered a devastating fire. Our hearts are filled with sadness, not only because of what our space represented to us, but also because other medical offices, legal offices, and Chef’s World were affected.
More than just a workplace, OncoMed268 has always been our home… a space built with dedication, commitment, and above all, shared stories with each one of you. We know that for many of our patients, it felt the same way.
In the midst of this difficult moment, we want to express our most sincere gratitude to our patients, colleagues, and team members who stood by us at all times while everything was happening. We also thank everyone who reached out with messages, calls, and words of support and solidarity, as well as the medical association for their support. Your kindness has given us strength at a time when we needed it most.
To our patients, we want to reassure you: your medical records are safe.
In the coming days, we will be contacting our patients who are currently receiving treatment individually to ensure continuity of care without interruption and to inform you of our temporary location.
To our team — our family — thank you for your strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment. Very soon, we will be together again, doing what we love most: caring for our patients.
Above all, we thank God for His protection and mercy. We are deeply grateful that no one was hurt. With faith and unity, we will rise — stronger than before.
We wish everyone a blessed Holy Weekend, a peaceful Resurrection Sunday, and a meaningful Holy Monday.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to the people of Antigua for standing with us during this time. We will remain in close contact and continue to share updates.
With gratitude and hope,
Dr. Dayli Gonzalez Baute
