⏳ January Challenge submissions close Friday 30 January.
If you signed up for the MBS 2026 Calendar Monthly Challenge, submit your proof now to remain eligible for this month’s reward valued at $200 and participant feature. 🎁

January Challenge (3 steps):

1.Review payroll for employees turning 60 to apply the correct contribution rate.

2. Update the contribution rate to 2.5% for employees 60–69, and remember employers pay 0% for this age group.

3. Ensure payments and R3A submissions are up to date to avoid penalties and support uninterrupted staff coverage.

📤📣Calling all private and primary schools. The MBS Prevention Unit invites students to get creative and build a Healthy 3D Lunchbox using foods from the Caribbean six food groups. This initiative supports healthy habits and obesity awareness in a fun, hands-on way.

📍Venue: MBS Courtyard, Nevis Street

(Important Update on Registration for Free Dental Services – Great Shape Inc. 1,000 Smiles)

The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Services is advising the public of important changes to the registration process for the Great Shape Inc. – 1,000 Smiles Free Dental Initiative being held in collaboration with the Ministry and the Sandals Foundation.

Pre-registration will continue on Thursday 15th January and Friday 16th January 2026 at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. It is therefore discontinued at the six public health clinics previously announced.

Those individuals who previously collected registration forms from the clinics are asked to return the completed forms to the same clinics where they were collected by 12 noon on Friday 16th January 2026. Forms that are not returned by this deadline will not be considered valid.

Persons who successfully pre-registered will be required to attend for treatment on Monday 19th January and Tuesday 20th January 2026. No new registration will take place on Monday 19th, January 2026.

However, beginning Tuesday 20th January 2026, new registration will continue at the MC&EC from 11:00 a.m to 4:00p.m, running concurrently with services being offered which includes Dental fillings, Root canal treatments, Tooth extractions and Dental cleanings.

The programme will take place on weekdays from January 19th to January 30th 2026 from 8am to 4pm.

The Ministry of Health thanks the public for its cooperation and encourages all interested persons to take note of these updated procedures in order to access this valuable free dental service.
