The Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Emergency Medical Service (ABEMS), Mr. Shawn Greenidge, extends his congratulations to the Deputy Director, Mr. Morvin Fiedtkou, on his recent achievement of becoming a registered pharmacist. This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy given Mr. Fiedtkou's existing roles as an Emergency Medical Technician and a Registered Nurse. His qualification markedly enhances the educational capacity of the Antigua and Barbuda Emergency Medical Service Training Academy, which is dedicated to training proficient Emergency Medical Technicians and facilitating the continuous educational development of ABEMS personnel.

The addition of Mr. Fiedtkou to the academy's instructional team enriches the diversity of expertise among the faculty. The academy is fortunate to have instructors with varied professional backgrounds, including Mr. Brandon Browne, a flight and critical care paramedic; Ms. Joanna Otto, a paramedic currently pursuing nursing studies; and Mr. Calvin Daley, who is engaged in sociology studies.

The Director encourages the younger members of staff to pursue excellence in their respective fields, as such efforts will significantly contribute to the overarching development of ABEMS and enhance the essential services it provides to the community.

MOTIVATION MONDAY : Mr. Shawn Greenidge (ABEMS Director) and Mr. Morvin Fiedtkou (ABEMS Deputy Director & Head of Training) expressing congratulations to Mr. Brandon Browne (ABEMS Academy Senior Instructor) for his hard work, dedication and successfully completing the Critical Care Paramedic Course at the University of Florida.

We are proud to further highlight that Mr.Browne passed the International Board of Specialty Certifications (IBSC) exams on his first attempt, rendering him the nations first internationally certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C).
