The Hughes Medical Centre is an attractively designed and decorated 18,000 square foot, state of the art surgical and medical facility located in the Lower South Hill area of Anguilla. The facility is a multi-specialty complex that concentrates on plastic and reconstructive surgery, ambulatory general surgery, gynecological surgery, laparoscopic surgery, family practice, laboratory and radiologic services. The centre aims to provide patients within the Caribbean and those visiting the region, with high quality, compassionate private health care services. Patients are seen from as far south in the Caribbean region as Grenada and Barbados to the USVI in the north as well as from the United States. The majority of the cosmetic surgery is performed at the Hughes Medical Centre for greater privacy and flexibility of scheduling. The facility is equipped with state of the art operating equipment and monitoring devices. The centre has a special interest in breast cancer and provides educational assistance to many local support groups. Our resident medical staff: Dr. Hughes (Plastic Surgeon) and Dr. Rona Hodge (General Surgeon). Our services are supplemented by visiting specialists (e.g. Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Urology, Endocrinology), who are encouraged to visit on a periodic basis to provide service to the local patients.
