This condition is known as megadactyly a rare congenital disorder which usually affects the third and index finger of hand and toe of the foot.. The etiology is unknown.. But it causes the nerve innervasion blood supply and muscles of the affected limb hypertrophied and thicked..it may be isolated phenomenon..primary treatment is to relieve pain and pressure and to prevent nerve compression and secondary treatment is cosmetic surgery..
