DID YOU KNOW: Certain foods that are higher in FODMAPs, such as dairy-based products and mangoes, apples, pears and watermelon can cause digestive distress in individuals with a sensitive gut?

A low-FODMAP diet, which contains a limited amount of FODMAPs, should be the first-line treatment option considered for those experiencing discomfort.

Making a minor dietary adjustment to maintain a low-FODMAP diet can alleviate symptoms related to certain GI conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome.

Learn how adjusting your food choices and portion sizes can help manage symptoms in our GI Patient Center: https://patient.gastro.org/low-fodmap-diet/.
