"Needles? I’m not sure…" ❔

It’s the most common thing I hear in my practice in 𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚. I understand that hesitation—even growing up in China, where acupuncture is part of life, I remember the moment I truly realized its 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫. ✨

She came to me exhausted:
✅ 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 from long office hours.
✅ 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐣𝐚𝐰 from constant stress.
✅ 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 that never felt restorative.

"I’m afraid of needles," she whispered. 📍

I smiled, because I knew what was about to happen. Acupuncture needles are as thin as a 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨 f 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 🪄. Most people are surprised by how little they actually feel.

The room went quiet. 🕯️ The city noise faded. I placed the first needle.
"That’s it?" she asked.
