"Grand Candy" company was founded in 2000 by a famous businessman Hrant Vardanyan. By launching new workshops, increasing the number of jobs, production, and sales volumes year by year, "Grand Candy" and its products enjoy a significant position in the confectionery market of the Republic of Armenia. Due to the efficiently organized production, in a short period, the Company has taken its firm place in the market, introducing to the consumers already well-known traditional, as well as new products unique for the local market. Currently, "Grand Candy", with about 23 hectares of the industrial area, produces more than 400 names of products. "Grand Candy" is the only company in the Transcaucasia (also known as the South Caucasus) that processes cocoa beans. More than 80 names of products of the “Joyco” brand of "Grand Candy" are exported and sold in dozens of countries around the world. The "Grand Candy" trademark is well-known and recognized by the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Armenia. Particular mention should be made of the new world record set by the "Grand Candy" company on September 10, 2010, in the Guinness Book of World Records for "World's Largest Chocolate Bar". Driven by the priority of consumers' health, all the ingredients used in the production of "Grand Candy" are thoroughly inspected, and the relevant specialists ensure the high and stable quality of the products. Production of "Grand Candy" is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 quality management standards, ISO 22000:2005 food safety management standards, and FSSC22000V4.1 food safety management system standards.
