SafeBox Storage Center is located in the industrial zone at the address Kaya Atom #19. For access to the location: Driving from the airport direction Kralendijk turn right at Kaya Maximiliano Rosario (across Courtyard resort) direction to Tera Korá and the first left turn will take you to the building about 100 meters further on the right. Another option is driving from Kaya Industria making a right turn (southern direction) at the unpaved road right after passing the Don Andres building and maintain right. Height is 4.5 meters on one end and 3.6mts on the other end in each unit. Each unit comes with a rollup door with integrated lock. The construction material of the building is made of insulated 60mm thick metal “sandwich” panels on the roof and walls. This significantly reduces the R value (Resistance to heat and extreme temperatures). For comparison purposes, the R value of a concrete block is measured as 1 whereas these insulated panels have an R value of 16! This construction system is especially suitable for storing dry goods, wine and beverages as well as documents, electric/electronic appliances, furniture, cars or sensitive material such as art pieces, medical equipment or medicine which may damage due to temperature fluctuation and high temperatures (heat, spoilage, humidity, mold, shrinking, warping, cracking, melting of electric/electronic cables). Rental prices vary depending on the sizes. The 43² meter units rent for US$550.00 a month for medium to long term contracts (One year or longer). A one month security deposit is required prior to occupancy. The larger units (135m²) rent for $1.450.00 a month plus the security deposit. Utilities are not included but if a customer wants to have electricity in his unit or wants to install an A/C unit we will calculate a rate based on electricity consumption (KWh) per month as per WEB’s consumption guide book. Internet facilities are also available. The main entrance is accessible through a remote controlled motored gate. There are cameras installed for security of all our customers.
