Unique Piece: Whispers of Spring

This beautiful handmade floral crown features a delicate arrangement of dried flowers and soft fabric petals. The crown is adorned with:

- Baby’s breath (Gypsophila)

- Dried pink statice flowers and roses

- Pale pink fabric flowers

- Pearl-like beads

The base of the crown is carefully wrapped in natural twine, enhancing its organic, handmade appeal. This dried flower crown is ideal for weddings, bridal showers, bohemian parties, garden events, and photoshoots.

I’m getting back to designing with flowers.

This one crown is a mix of live and dried, it’s still not the time to find abundant foliages but I loved working with the natural twirling shapes of the branches. I also reused a couple of dried limoniumn and everlastings to spark some light and colors. Roses I’ve dried up during the year give it a romantic touch.

En el verano del 2021 mis manos tocaron unas flores y me deje llevar por ese sentimiento que me decía, “Por aquí es lo que hoy estas buscando. No importa como, tu solo crea y déjate llevar por el amor y la paz que sientes en lo que estas haciendo”…

This crown would have normally taken me 3-4 hours to make but when I finished the design, I wasn’t quite sure about the outcome or technique I had used with wire. And so I remade the design, this time with floral tape to put all the flowers together.

It can feel frustrating to have to remake your work, so my advice is to stop and start fresh. And time wasn’t wasted, it was time invested to keep on learning…it is part of the process🌼
