Today, April 29th, we celebrate World Immunology Day 🌍🧬

This day was established by the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) to raise global awareness about the importance of the immune system in protecting our health and improving quality of life.

Immunology plays a crucial role in understanding, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of conditions, from infections and allergies to autoimmune diseases and inborn errors of immunity.

At LASID, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing education, research, and access to care for patients with inborn errors of immunity across Latin America.

Let’s continue working together to promote early diagnosis, equitable treatment, and better outcomes for all patients.
