The premier functional training program in Southern France and Monaco, specializing in sports conditioning and strength training. Starting out my career as a track athlete I represented Greece in the 110 m hurdles and 100m sprints several years . To specialise in Sports and Nutrition science I moved to the united states ( University of California Los Angeles) where i got a master's degree in sports science in 2004 . Since achieving my academic goals I have been playing rugby 7's and rugby union for my national team (Hellas rugby), played for the Saints academy ,Harlequins and Nice Rugby Cote d'Azur and playing for Asm rugby at the moment . Since 2008 I am based in Monaco where I established my outdoor functional training camp . With years of experience in the fitness and nutrition industry, both as a successful athlete and trainer. I would love to help you overcome your plateau and achieve your goals .My specific knowledge and my motivation will enable my clients to achieve their body best and establish a healthy lifestyle. 2002 NASM CPI certification (certified fitness instructor)

1999 ISSA CPI certification (certified in sports conditioning)

2002 APEX Nutrition System Certification

How Does Sleep Affect Muscle Growth?

Glucose is a type of sugar that is stored within the body and used for energy. It is, in fact, the only kind of sugar that the body can break down for energy. Any other kind of sugar that we ingest is broken down into glucose before our muscles can use it for energy.
During sleep, blood glucose gets stored in the muscle as muscle glycogen. While glucose exists in other locations in the body (the blood and liver), muscle glycogen is a preferred location because it produces more energy than when glucose comes from the blood.
Human growth hormone (HGH), on the other hand, is one of the primary compounds that allows muscles to recover and grow. Among other functions, our bodies need it to actually use the amino acids present in the protein we eat. As it happens, the time when the bloodstream is flooded with the stuff is - you guessed it - during sleep.
Without a good quantity and quality of sleep, the body simply cannot do these things well.For an added bonus, consuming a combination of protein and carbohydrates within 30 minutes before and after a resistance training session, they will stimulate an even greater release of HGH during sleep.

I prefer to win titles with the team ahead of individual MVP awards or scoring more tries 🏉🥇than anyone else. I'm more worried about being a good person than being the best Rugby player in the team . When all this is over, what are you left with? When I retire, I hope I am remembered for being a decent guy that always wanted to do his best as a team player 👊🏻 There is many times I fell short of being the best, but I never fell short of giving it my best 💯👊🏻
