Reumatologia:

Warfarin is recommended for patients with thrombotic antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) based on data showing superiority over the direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) rivaroxaban. In a new randomized trial in patients with thrombotic APS, 6 of 23 patients assigned to apixaban experienced stroke, compared with none of 25 patients assigned to warfarin.

ASA + Clopidogrel:

The benefit of P2Y12 inhibition in addition to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) in the non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndromes (NSTE-ACS) population was initially shown in the CURE trial where the addition of clopidogrel to ASA resulted in a significant 20% reduction in CV death, myocardial infarction, or stroke at 12 months. TRAUMA COMO ENFERMEDAD SOCIAL
El trauma es la tercera causa de muerte global (detrás de las enfermedades cardiovasculares y oncológicas) y es la primera causa de muerte en el grupo de pacientes entre 1 y 44 años. De acuerdo a información actualizada de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y el Centro de Control de Enfermedades de EEUU (Centers for Disease Control- CDC-) más de 9 personas mueren cada minuto
por lesiones externas o violencia, y 5.8 millones de personas de todas las edades y grupos económicos mueren todos los años por este motivo.

Es tan común que ocurra, que hasta lo naturalizamos! Incluso hay gente que está firmemente convencida de que son accidentes...

NO SON ACCIDENTES, no es algo desafortunado ni un castigo divino.
