🧠💻 Can AI in medicine detect illness before we even feel it?

As a physician working at the intersection of digital health and traditional healing, I see daily how technology transforms our field.
But we must ask: Where is the line between helpful and harmful?

In my medical practice in Graz, I integrate AI tools where they serve best – but always in combination with what truly heals: human connection, attentive listening, and techniques like hypnosis and acupuncture.

AI can do many things. But it can’t replace intuition, trust, or empathy.
And it certainly can’t replace the healing power of presence.

✨ Heute durften wir das Abschlusskonzert der Saison 24/25 in der Grazer Oper erleben – unter der inspirierenden Leitung von Chefdirigent Vassilis Christopoulos. Es war wirklich ein großartiges Konzert! Besonders beeindruckt haben mich die Werke von Nikos Skalkotas, dem bedeutenden griechischen Komponisten des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts, dessen Kompositionen stark von der griechischen Volksmusik geprägt sind.
🙏 Ich bin sehr stolz, dass die Werke eines griechischen Komponisten von unserem griechischen Chefdirigenten mit so viel Hingabe dirigiert und so begabt moderiert wurden.
Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf die Saison 25/26! 🎻🎼🇬🇷

. 🎶✨✨ Today we attended the season finale concert 24/25 at Graz Opera, conducted by the inspiring Chief Conductor Vassilis Christopoulos. It was truly a wonderful concert! I was especially moved by the works of Nikos Skalkotas, the renowned Greek composer of the early 20th century, whose compositions are deeply rooted in Greek folk music.
🙏 I felt so proud that the works of a Greek composer were conducted – and brilliantly presented – by our Greek chief conductor.
Already looking forward to the 25/26 season! 🎻🎼🇬🇷

Today marked my debut as an examiner for the Austrian Society for Controlled Acupuncture (OGKA) during the national diploma exam in body acupuncture, a qualification required by the Austrian Medical Chamber for the medical practice of acupuncture.
It was a great honor to serve in this role 🙏 – a moment of trust, responsibility, and deep appreciation.
Congratulations to all candidates! I wish you great success and joy in practicing this powerful healing method of acupuncture 🌿🩺✨ Heute war meine Premiere als Prüfer der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Kontrollierte Akupunktur (OGKA) für das Diplom der Körperakupunktur 🎓 – einer wichtigen Qualifikation für die ärztliche Anwendung von Akupunktur gemäß den Vorgaben der Österreichischen Ärztekammer.
Es war mir eine große Ehre, als Prüfer zu fungieren 🙏 – ein Moment voller Verantwortung, Vertrauen und Freude.
Ich gratuliere allen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern herzlich zur bestandenen Prüfung und wünsche viel Erfolg und Freude bei der Ausübung dieser wunderbaren Heilmethode der Akupunktur 🌿🩺✨

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of holding a workshop on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the 11th International Student Congress (ISC) at the Medical University of Graz. 🧠🌿🪡

It was truly inspiring to see so many curious and passionate young medical students from around the world, eager to explore the healing potential of acupuncture. I introduced them to the principles of TCM and showed how this time-tested system can complement modern Western medicine.

My goal was simple: to spark interest and empower the next generation of doctors to consider acupuncture as a valuable medical tool in their future practice. And judging by the discussions and energy in the room – I believe we did just that.

A big thank you to the **ISC Graz team** and all participants! 🙏
