My first ever silk mohair from 💓. I was almost sure I wouldn’t like it, as my childhood/teen experiences with ‘mohair’ were a yucky, plastic feeling weird, shimmery, furry thing that felt very strange against the skin.
After listening to ‘s podcast about mohair on , I thought of giving it a go.
(if you have any questions about mohair I recommend you watch it - it’s is super informative 👌🏼).
I found an elegant looking sweater pattern by Rowan (sorry I didn’t use rowan yarn 🫣 but I’d love to try that too next time ☝🏼) and used the knitting for olive soft silk mohair, colour-Putty.
I have to say I’m impressed and I LOVE the outcome. It feels naturally soft, with a halo effect and I feel like I can wear it to some fancier events and outings too (Picture coming soon). 🧶
