Cyprus farmers in focus: boosting banana yields with AMALGEROL 🌱

Our field visits in Cyprus continued with Aristidis Aristidou in Peyia, who grows 3 ha of open-field bananas.

Aristidis applies AMALGEROL Biostimulant regularly to combat cold stress, achieving high yields, large bunches, and top-quality fruits. His results are so impressive that everyone in the market believes his bananas are imported - even though they’re grown locally!

These visits are inspiring, showing the real impact of biostimulants in helping farmers achieve consistent quality and productivity. Thank you to Aristidis and the Costas Christodoulou team for sharing their knowledge and hospitality. Together, we are shaping the future of agriculture in Cyprus.

Visiting farmers in Cyprus: seeing biostimulants in action 🌱

Continuing our Cyprus journey, we had the pleasure of visiting farmers alongside Costas Christodoulou.

One highlight was meeting Costas Papantoniou in Paphos, who manages 5 ha of greenhouses growing vegetables, plus 1 ha of potatoes, 2 ha of citrus, and 1 ha of onions.

Costas is a loyal user of AMALGEROL Biostimulant, applying it regularly across his crops. His satisfaction with the results demonstrates how biostimulants support crop growth, resilience, and productivity.

A big thank you to Costas and the team at Costas Christodoulou for welcoming us. Seeing our products at work on the ground reminds us why collaboration and innovation go hand in hand in modern agriculture.

Sharing the Future of Biostimulants in Cyprus 🌱

At the end of November, Team Hechenbichler traveled to Cyprus to visit our long-standing distribution partner, Costas Christodoulou - a trip that reminded us how partnerships thrive on collaboration, trust, and shared knowledge.

We conducted a technical seminar for 14 agronomists from their team. Hanspeter Hueter, our General Manager, introduced Hechenbichler’s vision, followed by Walid Saad, Business Leader International, who presented the characteristics of AMALGEROL and our new product portfolio.

The engagement and enthusiasm of the Costas Christodoulou team were inspiring. These moments reinforce our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and partnership in agriculture.
