Hello everyone,

We want to present to you the finalized versions of the Jacobovitz multifunctional chopper kit. With this kit, you can train symmetric bimanual phaco fragmentation on an artificial eye with the Jacobovitz multifunctional chopper. The kit includes two (Geuder) Jacobovitz multifunctional choppers, two artificial eyes, and lenses with various rigidities. The reusable Eye 4 Jacobovitz has an open sky system that enables multiple insertions of the lenses into the artificial eye. The instrument is produced by Geuder AG and designed by Sérgio Jabobovitz (Md, Ph.D., Ophthalmologist, a specialist in cataract surgery).

Cooperation with Geuder AG and eyecre.at GmbH has provided an opportunity for Dr. Sérgio Jabobovitz (Md, Ph.D., Ophthalmologist, a specialist in cataract surgery) to host an ophthalmic training course, Jacobovitz Chopper course, which is divided into a theoretical and practical module. In his course, the participants will receive training in symmetric bimanual phaco fragmentation with Jacobovitz multifunctional chopper. Jacobovitz multifunctional chopper was developed by Dr. Sérgio Jacobovitz and produced by Geuder AG. eyecre.at GmbH provides a "Jacobovitz multifunctional chopper kit" for the practical module with different versions of artificial eyes and other training equipment. The course is taking place in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil on the 15th & 17th of April 2021.

Hello everyone,

Our updated artificial eye Eye 4 Strabismus and Buckling is ideal for practicing, demonstrating, and simulating operations known as buckling, suturing, and strabismus.

What buckling is:
A buckle or sponge is stitched around an outer layer of the eye and surgically sewn in place so it can not move. Buckling is designed to support the retina by pushing the scleral toward the middle of the eye, reattaching your retina, and closing retina tears.

What strabismus is:
Strabismus surgery loosens or tightens eye muscles, changing the alignment of the eyes relative to each other.

Hello everyone,

Our new Eye 4 Demonstration Retina is the perfect product for your showcases. We put our master crafters at work to make it look as realistic as possible. The entire eye is made out of hard 3D printed material.

The eye can be opened for filling or emptying utilizing a screw cap on the equator. Different liquids such as our vitreous body gel, water, or other liquids can be filled into the eye with this option. It also allows foreign bodies to be placed for the manipulation exercise.

Hello everyone,

We want to demonstrate how to use our Eye 4 Cataract correctly in training situations with this video. Since the demand for our ophthalmic training solutions has increased in Brazil, we provided subtitles in Portuguese for this instructional video.

First, we show how to assemble the Eye 4 Cataract with the following parts: backplate, cornea, rhexis, and lenses with three levels of hardness. Next, we provide a tip on how to keep track of the insertion by utilizing ink to mark the artificial eye's entries. We suggest lubricating the tip with viscoelastic for the phaco device's insertion since the end of the device and the Eye 4 Cataract are both made out of silicone.

Hello everyone,

We would like to inform you about our capabilities to produce customized solutions! Thanks to our rapid prototyping team and our additive manufacturing processes (3D-printing), we can batch produce medical models in our prototype lab.

For example, we received a small volume product development request for mortuary purposes since no equivalent products were available in the market. The customer ordered 10 of the syringes. With our expertise in 3D-printing, we were able to produce this unique request at a reasonable price.
