"𝗧𝗠𝗗-𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘", 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁:

The Medical University of Vienna (Benedikt Sagl, project leader), GAMMA Dental (Christian Slavicek and Thomas Haberl, industrial partners) and VieSID (Cinzia Fornai, scientific partner) have teamed up to develop the groundwork for powering the functional analysis of the jaw kinematics by AI-supported evaluation of the condylography data. Through this endeavor, we aim at laying the foundation for technological advancements allowing for reduced condylographic evaluation time and inhenced tracings interpretation. The “TemporoMandibular Disorders – Training of neural networks and Research for Advanced Classification and Explanation of mandibular kinematics” project was selected for funding by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).

Brandnew - The GAMMA Reference Print&Click Set

A fully digital workflow usually entails the absence of physical models, which complicates crucial steps such as the final functional verification of digitally designed restorations. The GAMMA Reference Print&Click Set (order no. 06-230960) solves this problem by facilitating the accurate articulator mounting of 3D-printed dental models.
The creation of 3D-printable models for the Reference Print&Click mounting system is integrated as a step-by-step workflow on a new 3D Model Printing pane in CADIAS® 3D.

Das diesjährige Thema der 57. Jahrestagung der DGFDT (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Funktionsdiagnostik und -therapie) dreht sich um „der richtige Biss – das richtige Beißen“ und richtet den Blick auf zeitgemäße restaurative Konzepte.

Im Rahmen eines Workshops werden Christian Slavicek und Thomas Haberl den „GAMMA Digital Workflow“ vorstellen und demonstrieren, wie mit intraoralen Scans von Ober- und Unterkiefermodellen gemäß patientenspezifischen Parametern korrekt artikuliert werden kann und somit ein zeitgemäßer Workflow in der individualisierten funktionellen Zahnheilkunde gewährleistet werden kann.

Der Workshop findet am Samstag den 23. November um 13:00 statt.

In this tutorial we show you the new automatic tooth segmentation of the recent Gamma Dental Software update 8.7.2 which reduce the time needed for segmenting the model. After you imported the upper and lower jaw select Tooth Segmentation in CADIAS 3D, select Upper or lower Jaw and the tooth segmentation algorithm starts calculating. After a few seconds the calculation is finished and you can continue with selecting the teeth.
