🪵WOODLAND🪵 Picture Europe during the Cold War: endless forests, fog rolling over the Fulda Gap, and armies waiting for a war that might ignite at any moment. Out of this tension came woodland camouflage - the pattern that would become a global icon.

Its roots stretch back to World War II experiments, but the real breakthrough came in 1968, when U.S. researchers designed the ERDL pattern. By 1981, it evolved into the woodland camo we know today: a chaotic mix of greens, browns, and blacks, crafted to dissolve soldiers into Europe’s dense forests.

Why Europe? Because that’s where the fight was expected. NATO forces trained for battles in wooded terrain, where blending in could mean survival. Woodland wasn’t just a uniform - it was a strategy, a shield against the war everyone feared.

Though replaced by digital camo in the 2000s, woodland never disappeared. From surplus stores to streetwear, it carries the weight of history, a reminder of the forests where the world once prepared to fight.

Black Trident

Das Black Trident Team besteht aus Spezialisten! Egal ob waffentechnisch, in puncto Design und Umsetzung oder in der Produktentwicklung. Warum wir Holster entwerfen und bauen? Ursprünglich war jeder von uns auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Setup für seine Faustfeuerwaffe. Zubehörteile und Lampen waren schnell gefunden, nur waren am Markt nicht die passenden Holster verfügbar. Häufig waren sie zu klobig oder aus minderwertigen Materialien bzw. schlecht verarbeitet. Nach langen Recherchen und ein paar Fehlinvestitionen, entschlossen wir uns selbst Holster anzufertigen. Die Ergebnisse konnten sich sehen lassen und unsere Holster wurden mit Begeisterung beäugt. Eines führte zum anderen und schließlich entschlossen wir uns eine Firma zu gründen. Black Trident war geboren. Neben unterschiedlichsten Holstern stellen wir Magazintaschen, Messerscheiden und sonstige EDC-Komponenten aus Kydex her. Alle Produkte werden von Hand in Österreich individuell nach Kundenwunsch gefertigt. Unsere Designs wurden und werden von Profis im täglichen Einsatz getestet und von uns stetig weiterentwickelt und verbessert. Wir arbeiten nicht nur mit Polizei und Militär zusammen, sondern auch mit Schießausbildern und -Trainern. Wer auf der Suche nach etwas besonderem ist, wird bei uns mit Sicherheit fündig! Beyond conventional. Wir sind Black Trident.
