🔔 Abstract Submission Deadline Extended

We are pleased to inform you that the deadline for abstract submissions to the 7th ISFT® Congress has been extended to 31 July 2025.

The congress will take place from 23–25 September 2025 in Waren (Müritz), Germany, and welcomes contributions focusing on forest therapy and nature-based health solutions.

We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and all interested colleagues to share their work and insights.

🍃The International Society of Forest Therapy makes healing forests accessible to a wider audience, promote research on the health effects of forests, and establish high-quality training for forest therapists. It supports the professional exchange on the subject of forests and health between all the stakeholders.

🌲We learn from the forest how to communicate and build a strong ecosystem and network. Forests are not just a group of individual trees. Forest mycelium connects trees and creates a network through which resources and information are shared, making the forest resilient and enabling feedback and more active adaptation. We believe that the health and resilience of any thriving forest, community or business is built on rich and meaningful connections.

There are two good news - the CONGRESS PROGRAMME HAS ALREADY BEEN ANNOUNCED and the Ministry of Environment, the State Forest Enterprise, the leaders in reforestation and restoration of forests SKOGRAN and Myliu miškų (I Love Forest) are joining the congress partners and sponsors 🤗🌲💚

Representatives from different governments and municipalities from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and other countries will also share their experiences and integrated examples at this year's Congress. The Lithuanian Research Council will also present EU funding instruments for cross-border cooperation on forests and public health.

The programme includes 48 speakers, 2 symposia, 8 workshops and discussions, more than 10 therapeutic sessions, a cultural programme and a networking evening.
