What is the thought that appears when you are still and in silence?
Is it a judgement of you, or is a kind thought about you?
For me, I love silence and stillness. I get to really see where my mind is still creating blocks. I have had many teachers who tell me to focus on the things I want to change. I found this only increased what I didn't like about me. it was like when I was learning to ride my bicycle... If i focused on an obstacle I hit it. If I looked at where I needed to go... well I'm sure you see my point 😂
So, what if we focused more on what we desire to be. Not from need, or lack, but from a desire to simply be that!
And then, as we walk through our day we live as though we have become it. Each night (as we go to sleep) create a list of all the things we accomplished and all the things we are grateful for. Each morning as we wake, simply be grateful for our rest, for the warm bed we slept in, and the simple fact that we woke up - I have had a few friends in my past who forgot to wake up the morning.
Let your body feel the gratitude and it will change how you are and how you view life!
