Joining professional community, being noticed and accepted by colleagues is often difficult for students and professionals who are at the very beginning of their working path. Our section provides young professiona

ls with an opportunity to become a part of society and actively participate in the development of the profession. We give young professionals the opportunity to be heard and realize their projects, to exchange professional experience as with each other, as with more experienced colleagues, find and unite with each other. To develop personally and contribute to psychotherapy’s development and , therefore, to the development of whole mankind! The benefits of being a section member are:

The members of Youth Section have discounts for all events of WCP. The members of Youth Section have opportunities to be a speaker or to make the presentation on world or continental congresses. The members of Youth Section have possibilities to publish their articles in World Journal «Psychotherapy». An invitation to all YWCP members and friends,

You are cordially invited to attend a high-level event at the United Nations during the General Assembly on the topic, “Time to Act on Global Mental Health: Building Momentum on Mental Health in the SDG Era”, to be held on Wednesday, 26 September 2018, from 1:30 PM-3:00 PM in Conference Room 3 at UN Headquarters in New York City.

This event highlights examples of progress from diverse settings while addressing the need for greater action and leadership about mental health. Those present will include leaders from government, civil society, the business community, youth movements and people with lived experience about mental health and well-being from around the world.

Sponsors include the Permanent Missions to the UN of Canada, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Belgium, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands; the World Health Organization; Born This Way Foundation; Nexus: and the Global Campaign for Mental Health.

Given that this event is taking place during the UN General Assembly with high security, it is crucial to RSVP by 21 September to: rsvp@gcfmh.org.
Note that registration is mandatory in order to secure entry to the UN and a place at the event. Also, please indicate if you have a UN grounds pass, or already are accredited to attend the UN General Assembly.
