A recent consultation reminded me how important experience and a comprehensive surgical plan are in lipedema treatment. 💯

This patient had already undergone three lipedema surgeries in a public hospital, covered by health insurance.

However, several important areas remained untreated - including the lower legs, buttocks, flanks, and arms.

As a result, the treatment now has to start almost from the beginning.

This is not meant as a rant about public hospitals. But it needs to be said that there can be a difference when patients are treated in specialized private settings by surgeons who focus exclusively on lipedema liposuction and perform these procedures on a daily basis.

Dalia is a young mother who loves hiking. 🥾

Over time, however, the pain in her legs made it harder and harder to enjoy the activities she loves.
Looking only at her photos, she would not be considered a “typical” lipedema patient - she is very slim and athletic.

Yet she had clear symptoms, including pain and the characteristic nodular lipedema tissue.
Her case is also remarkable because this was the lowest-volume full leg procedure so far.
