Becoming an Enrolled Centre reflects a commitment to quality assurance in interventional oncology. By aligning with established standards, centres strengthen their clinical pathways and ensure that interventional oncologists have the guidance needed to practice safely and effectively in a standardised manner as primary clinical care providers.

🎉 We’re pleased to welcome Ankara Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Oncology Training and Research Hospital as an Enrolled Centre in the IASIOS community!

By enrolling, the team has taken a clear step to align their interventional oncology practice with internationally recognised standards, marking the start of their accreditation pathway and a strong commitment to quality assurance, patient safety, and multidisciplinary cancer care.

We are also proud to share that the centre is one of the five recipients of the First Year Forward Grant, awarded to support hospitals committed to advancing quality in interventional oncology.

The IASIOS process provides a structured framework for evaluation, peer review, and continuous quality improvement, supporting the delivery of safe, consistent, high-quality, image-guided treatments.

🏥 Austrumu slimnīcas Radioloģijas centra Invazīvās radioloģijas nodaļa ir uzņemta starptautiskās akreditācijas organizācijas Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe izveidotajā invazīvās onkoloģijas akreditācijas sistēmā (IASIOS).

💡 Austrumu slimnīca ir pirmā ārstniecības iestāde Latvijā, kas uzsākusi kvalitātes standartizēšanas procesu invazīvās onkoradioloģijas jomā, apliecinot apņemšanos nodrošināt augstākās kvalitātes aprūpi onkoloģijas pacientiem.

📊 Kopš 2026. gada marta Austrumu slimnīcas Invazīvās radioloģijas nodaļa ir iekļauta 44 pasaules līmeņa ārstniecības iestāžu sarakstā, kas uzsākušas akreditācijas procesu. IASIOS ir vienīgā programma pasaulē, kas sertificē invazīvās onkoloģijas pakalpojumus nodrošinošas ārstniecības iestādes, un dalība tajā nozīmē pievienošanos starptautiskai kopienai ar augstākajiem kvalitātes standartiem. 🌐

👩‍⚕️ Radioloģijas centra vadītāja Aina Kratovska uzsver:
“Mēs lepojamies kļūt par pirmo ārstniecības iestādi Latvijā, kas ir uzsākusi kvalitātes standartizēšanas procesu invazīvās onkoradioloģijas jomā, apliecinot apņemšanos nodrošināt augstākās kvalitātes aprūpi pacientiem. ✅ Akreditācijas uzsākšanai bija nepieciešama ne tikai dažādu dokumentu iesniegšana, bet arī pašanalīzes testa veikšana, kurš uzrādīja 86% prasību izpildi, kas apliecina mūsu slimnīcas Radioloģijas centra augsto atbilstību starptautiskajiem standartiem un gatavību sekmīgai akreditācijas iegūšanai.

Tā ir mūsdienīga un pacientam saudzīga pieeja vēža ārstēšanā, kur audzēji tiek ārstēti ar minimāli invazīvām metodēm, izmantojot attēldiagnostiku (datortomogrāfiju, ultrasonogrāfiju, magnētisko rezonansi).
