Tadasana / Mountain stand

1. From a standing position, bring the feet together or hip width apart, parallel. Lift up the toes, spread them wide and place them back on the floor. Feel your weight evenly balanced through the bottom of each foot, not leaning forward or back.

2. Pull up the knee caps, squeeze the thighs and tuck the tailbone slightly under. Feel the hips aligned directly over the ankles. The legs are straight, but the knees are not locked back.

3. Inhale and lift out of the waist, pressing the crown of the head up towards the ceiling, feeling the spine long and straight.

4. Exhale and drop the shoulders down and back as you reach the fingertips towards the floor. Gently press the chest / sternum towards the front of the room.

5. Continuing to reach out through the fingers, inhale the arms up, turning the palms shoulder height, bringing the arms into a H position.

6. Exhale relax the shoulders down from the ears while still reaching the crown and fingers up.

7. Breathe and hold for 4-8 breaths.

8. To release: exhale the arms down to your sides or bring the palms together in front of your chest.

That is What You Call Spiritual Experience - November 1

Living together happily as one beautiful family with total love is God. People still ask me, "What is it that I have been doing all these years? I have been practicing, but I haven't realized God, I haven't had any experience." I don't know what experience it is that they want. They want to be lifted up from the floor a few inches? Or have some hallucinations? To me, even if you experience such things, it's still nonsense. That's not the spiritual experience I would want. Yes, you might have some visions, you might see some lights, hear some sounds, all right. What is the benefit that those things bring to others? The real experience is to move around with a smiling face, a loving face. That is spiritual: to see the spirit in others, to love everybody. To rise above these differences of the lower nature.

Real spiritual experience brings harmony. What is the use of those other experiences if you can't live comfortably, harmoniously, lovingly with ten people? Everybody should love you. To me that is what you call spiritual experience. Keep that in mind. "I will live a life that will make everybody love me. Nobody should look at me with even a little dismay." Only if you can do that, are you growing spiritually. All other things are just nonsense. Even your spiritual practices.

Here are recipes of 2 type of Ayurvedic Tea to fight Fat in a healthy way :

As we grow older, it can be extremely challenging to lose fat just through diet and exercise. To really fight that stubborn fat, the ancient medical system of India, known as Ayurveda, uses age-old techniques that target the exercise-resistant fat by igniting your digestive fire. This is the biggest difference between ayurvedic weight loss and techniques and more conventional Western methods – Ayurveda focuses on why your fat cells are getting bigger and give you solutions that work long term. These techniques have worked for thousands of years and can be performed on a daily basis.

1-Detox Tea

Boil 4 to 5 cups of water in the morning.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of the following seeds to the water and continue to let it boil for about 5 minutes with the lid on.

Whole cumin seeds
Whole coriander seeds
Whole fennel seeds

Strain out the seeds and pour the liquid into a thermos. The key is to make the tea fresh every morning, place it in a thermos, and take small sips of it throughout the day. It is best to drink it warm or hot. If the tea is too strong or if you experience some initial discomfort, reduce the number of seeds to 1/4 teaspoon for 2 weeks, and then increase it back to 1/2 teaspoon.

2-Curry Powder Blend

In a coffee grinder, grind the following ingredients together:

5 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 large bay leaf
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 small (1 1/2 inch) cinnamon stick
5 cloves

After you grind the above ingredients together, add:

2 tsp turmeric powder
