Abbotsford Medical Practice is a group of GPs and other health professionals dedicated to providing primary health care services of excellence.

Our vision is to integrate best medical practice and current technological innovation, with traditional values of respect, integrity and personalised health care. We believe this is best achieved by adopting a multi-disciplinary approach, utilizing the skills and expertise of a diverse range of practitioners (including doctors, nurses, psychologists and others). Working together as a team ensures an effective sharing of knowledge, optimizing patient care. We are proud of our long-standing association with Sydney University in the training of medical students, and with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in providing supervision to GP registrars. Abbotsford Medical Practice is located in a unique freestanding building at the junction of Great North Road and Hampden Road in Abbotsford. Free street parking is usually available and there are designated disabled parking spaces adjacent to the practice. Our reception area is large, modern and comfortable and includes a play area for children. Our reception staff are here to assist with any of your appointment needs. Our aim is to provide the professional health care you need, when you need it, in a personal, caring environment.

Hi,

Due to circumstances beyond our control the Surgery will be closed tomorrow Saturday 1st October.

We have tried our hardest to avoid this, but unfortunately we have had to make the difficult decision to close.

We will reopen on Tuesday the 4th October at 8am

Welcome to the newest member of our team.
Dr. Rachel Loong

Rachel enjoys looking after the whole family. She has particular interests in fertility, paediatrics and mental health and can provide antenatal shared care. This year she is pursuing studies in lifestyle medicine which emphasises the importance of good nutrition, exercise, sleep and social connection for wellbeing.

Dr Rachel will be working Monday and Thursday.

From 31 January, the booster interval will change to 3 months after your third dose.
