Let's talk portion control. It's essential for curbing overeating, getting your essential nutrent intake in the right levels. This all starts with the plate you put your food on. The average standard house plate, as shown here, is usually filled to the outer brim with food, which then amounts to 2 - 3 times a standard serve. We also tend to divide our macros up incorrectly. Sticking to the inside of the inner ring on the plate is where we should aim for our food to fit. If this is an issue for you, portion control plates are available to buy, and you will be surprised at the actual amount of food we should be consuming.
