Get to know our team đź’™ Meet Judy!

Judy brings with her over twenty years experience working in hospital, residential, critical care and private settings.

Judy takes an authentic, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, tailoring her support to each individual’s needs. Her practice draws on a range of evidence-based modalities, and she's also leading our group therapy sessions here at Lyt Health.

Judy has a particular passion for helping clients — from school-aged children through to adults — build self-confidence, improve emotional regulation, and create a meaningful life.

As we approach the weekend (almost there!) we thought we'd share some of our favourite ways to recharge and allow our body and mind the time to unwind after a busy week:
🌿Change up your scenery - try a new walking route or visit a different beach
đź§©Swap screen time for reading a book, listening to music or try a puzzle!
🍽Take some extra time to cook a nourishing meal, or plan your meals for the week ahead. Make it an experience - listen to some music or light a candle while you cook!
🌸Choose one way to take a moment to ground yourself - whether it’s deep breaths, journaling or exercising. Do something to fill your cup!

It's time to let some light in! This month we're exploring the huge benefits of getting a few rays of morning sun.
1. IMPROVES SLEEP - Cells in your eyes need light to get your internal body clock ticking. Studies have shown that morning exposure in particular gives you the energy boost you need to start your day, and also helps you wind down at night.

Meet Bailey - Georgia’s 6 year old Cavoodle 🤎

Bailey is a gentle natured fluff ball who absolutely loves people. Bailey started to look at Georgia longingly whenever she would leave for work, which led her to bringing him along to the practice. It is safe to say that Bailey never missed a day of work from that point on.

One of Bailey’s favourite activities is to cuddle up in the sun on his bed in Georgia’s office and snooze the day away - but be warned once he is engaged for a pat he will never leave your side and may even snuggle himself up in your lap.

Meet Georgia Gardiner 🤍

Georgia is a warm and engaging Psychologist who is passionate about supporting clients to build a deeper and more compassionate understanding of themselves.

Georgia has been working in the field of psychology for 10 years and has practiced in both hospital and private settings. She has expertise in trauma informed care and works with young people and adults identifying as part of different groups and with a range of mental health needs.

She aims to create a safe space for individuals to process difficult emotions and to work through difficult past and present experiences.

Georgia hopes that she can support her clients to heal from pain and to let go of suffering so that they can move forward in values guided directions.
