After an epic 20,000km duathlon journey around Australia (and Guiness World Record ⭐), Dawn Beaumont will return to Adelaide from her Queen of Hearts Run & Ride on Friday 12 September 2025. 🚴

Inspired by her mum's recovery from a heart attack and her work with the Flying Doctor, Dawn has been running and riding for 200 days, raising funds for the RFDS and the Heart Foundation along the way... so far that's $50,000! ❤️

We wish all involved in the Outback Air Race the best of luck as it kicks off this weekend! ! 🛩️

More than 40 teams will takeoff from Uluru on a journey to Carnarvon, WA – a time-trial adventure spanning 15 days across some of Australia's most remote and stunning landscapes. 🌄

Since 1996, the iconic event has raised more than $4 million for the RFDS. This year alone, the campaign has already cracked $750,000!

Our Primary Health Team loved visiting baby Ava and mum Laura for her six-month health check. From her tiny toes to gummy smiles, she's tracking beautifully. 📈

Be it an outback homestead, in the back of a plane or via video call – regular health and development checks help keep our bush babies health and happy! ✈️

This year, Laura's young family has been one of more than 80 families in outback SA supported by the RFDS, from pregnancy through to the crucial first five years of their child's life.❤️

Our health and wellbeing camp initiative returned to Far North SA last month, this time to Marree! 💃💚

Held in collaboration with Preventive Health SA, the three-day camp offered a safe space for women to engage in health screenings, including bowel, cervical and breast cancer checks – breaking down the barriers through lots of fun activities!

This Dental Health Week, let's 'brush up' on how to best protect our teeth! 😁🪥

🧽 Use a soft brush not a hard brush. Hard brushes can damage your teeth and gums.

🫛 Use a small pea-sized amount of toothpaste. You don’t need a huge amount.

🫧 Don’t rinse with water or mouthwash after brushing. You want the toothpaste to stay on your teeth to help the fluoride strengthen them.

↘️ Tilt your brush at 45 degrees. Enable the bristles to clean your teeth and gums.

🔄 Brush in circles. Better protect your gums with a softer technique.

✅ Good oral health is fundamental to overall health and wellbeing.
