I love my job, you never know what the day will bring! I get to watch my clients grow and experience new things. We get to explore all the beautiful spots around Adelaide. The joy I get from seeing the smile on their faces as we go to their favourite place and look for hidden treasures.

I have worked with these two Mums children since they have left school. We have had lots of amazing achievements along the way. Mainly with swimming, both of these people get such enjoyment from being in the water. I have loved working with them the past few years. Watching them grow into the, kind, gentle adults they are now. We have had our challenges along the way, but have overcome everything.

Are you looking for affordable respite knowing your child is in safe hands?
I can help, whether it be in the comfort of your child's home or alternatively I am able to run out of my home. A weekend away or a few days during the week could be just what you and your child need to recharge. I understand how hard it can be leaving your child with someone else. That's why I can assure you that I will do my absolute best to make sure your child feels safe and that their needs are met, knowing their parent/caregiver is only a phonecall away.
I also offer a range of services during the day or night. They include personal care, Walking, hiking, cooking, socialising, swimming, arts and craft, assisting clients in learning to use public transport. Accompany clients to shows, sports events, markets, shopping, movies and other community events.
If this sounds like something for you please message me on Facebook or contact me on

I have worked with Brandon since he left school. He has come such a long way, he now exercises daily and works really hard each session even when you can see he's exhausted he doesn't give up. Seeing the smile on this young man's face when he reaches his target and then when he tells his Mum when she picks him up makes my day. We would go swimming, for walks along the beach and at parks and do our own gym sessions. Our treat days would include movies, bowling and community events such as the Adelaide Show. Brandon's family have been so wonderful to me over the years, trusting me to help Brandon achieve his goals. I have built up a great relationship with his Mum, especially after a traumatic event when I had to attend to Brandon in an emergency. Being able to have a trusting relationship with my client's families is so important to me because they entrust me with their son or daughter's life and all any parent wants for their child is the best care possible.

Hello, my name is Nicki Cohen and I am a Disability Support Worker/Mentor.
I have been working in the disability sector for 6 years I have worked with a variety of different people living with disabilities, some with extremely challenging needs but all with a personality of their own. In that time, I have had a lot of experience in the water, every week I would take a group of clients swimming. I have also spent time working alongside physios doing hydrotherapy. I love going to work and making a difference in the lives of people who need it the most. I endeavour to do my very best to provide the best care possible, to be an advocate for my clients and to help them live fun, happy, fulfilled and enriched lives of their choosing. I live a very active and healthy lifestyle and believe I can incorporate this into my work in a fun and interesting way. I offer a range of services, including: personal care, Walking, hiking, cooking, socialising, swimming, arts and craft, assisting clients in learning to use public transport. Accompany clients to shows, sports events, markets, shopping, movies and other community events. Please feel free to send me a private message if this interests you.
