Why I started bodybuilding prep 🏋🏽‍♂️

I didn’t start this just to get lean or step on stage. I started prep because it’s a learning process.

As a coach, I know the best way to grow is by putting myself through the same challenges I ask of others. Prep is teaching me discipline, patience, resilience, and how to navigate the highs and lows that come with chasing a big goal.

Every lesson I take from this is something I can pass on to my clients. The more I learn, the better I can guide them.

Your fat intake should make up 20-35% of your daily energy intake according to the NHMRC and Australian Dietary guidelines.

So your daily breakdown of your macronutrients; fats, carbs and protein, would look something like this:
- Fats 20-35%
- Protein 15-25%
- Carbohydrates 45-65%

These ranges are set to reduce chronic disease while maximising micronutrient intake.
