THERE WAS A TIME

There was a time I would have set myself on fire, to keep others warm.

There was a time I would have crossed oceans to reach people who wouldn’t cross a stream for me.

There was a time I would try, too hard, to be seen by those, who would simply never see me.

There was a time I felt myself unworthy of a person, who could actually never be worthy of me.

But not anymore.

You see my friend, there are many ways to spend your time on this earth
but wasting it on those who are not appreciative of your attention, is a crying shame.

Use your time wisely.
Save your best efforts for those who care.

For those who would return the favour or at least appreciate your attention.

Those who truly value you.
And the rest?

If they do not see you now, they never will.
And they are missing out.

Make this the time that you realise your time is precious and should only be bestowed on those who bring you comfort, positivity, support, love or joy.

Or all of the above.

Remember, you are the main act, not a warm up,
and this, my friend, is no dress rehearsal.

This is it.

The curtain is well and truly up.

Shine on.

When her desire to fit in with the crowd dissolves
When her manic compulsion to be perfect vaporizes
And when her obsession to be voted popular eviscerates
There comes a time in the life of a woman
When she simply says “no more”
When facade, artifice, and guile leave her nauseated
And when righteousness, dogma, and superiority repulse her
There comes a time in the life of a woman
When she no longer fears conflict but faces it boldly like a lioness
When she guards her authenticity as fearlessly as she guards her babies
And when she drops the role of savior knowing she can only save herself
There comes a time in the life of a woman
When she no longer cowers in the shadows of her unworthiness
When she no longer plays small so others can feel big
And when she swaps the role of victim for the role of cocreator
There comes a time in the life of a woman
When she unabashedly and boldly occupies her ultimate sovereignty
When she finally feels ready to claim her space in the world
And when she redefines compassion as unequivocal self-love
There comes a time in the life of a woman
When she finally releases her childlike dependencies on others
When she dares to rewrite a new mandate of living for herself
One that says:
I release unworthiness and fear
I divorce servility and passivity
I divest inauthenticity and enmeshment
I end the pretense of being someone I am not
And from now on I declare...
I will ascend into my highest power
I will embrace my greatest autonomy
I will celebrate my deepest worth
I will embody my fiercest courage and manifest the most authentic me
The time is now
I am ready
To awaken into my renaissance.~

A change is as good as a holiday 🏝

Well, I've just had the holiday so now it's time for more change!

Just paid the invoice for our new packaging 📦
🌱 Eco friendly. Sustainable. Compostable. 🌱

Orders can still be made in this transition period. Current packaging will be used until our new packaging arrives.

Last week I was unwell. Feverish, fatigued, exhausted.

Friday, my 'best' was making it from the bed to the sofa and keeping my fluids up.
Saturday, my 'best' was dragging my ass into the shower and eating some toast.
Sunday, I managed to get some laundry done.

While I've mostly recovered from last week's illness the phrase still rings true.

As a human who has experienced the waves of chronic depression for more than 20 years, somedays my 'best' is taking a shower, other days it is crushing the gym, winning at parenting or finishing that book.

And so; Today, we do our best. However that may look to you. I do my best for myself. Do your best for yourself.

What is holding you back?

The eclipse season has begun and right now we are experiencing the longest Full Moon eclipse in living memory.

That means a call to dive the deepest we ever have into the bits we call the shadow.

Not so we get stuck there and hang out incessantly trying to fix ourselves - there’s been more than enough of that already.

It’s to liberate ourselves.

From the bonds of fear and self doubt that have been holding us shackled to our limitations and keeping us from who we came here to really be.

The time now is to be bold.

This eclipse offers us a doorway.

I was shown an image of the scariest, unruly and even violent entity creating havoc in a room of a house. As the rest of the house ran as normal, no one dared go into this room.

There was a woman who could feel the entity and had dared it to show itself. When it did she wished it never had.

The fear was immense.

The doors of the room were tied together with a fraying string - that was all that was holding the entity at bay and the woman stood at the door paralysed, not knowing what to do but trying to run.

The entity represented all of the fears and doubt in the subconscious mind that held the woman frozen, and stuck.

All she had to do (and she did) was decide to open the doors, open her heart and find her courage to walk in and offer the entity kindness and love.

To completely welcome and embrace it - as wild, reckless and scary as it felt.

To decide to see the entity for its true nature - Light.

And what do you think occurred?

The storm calmed, the raging stopped and all was calm and still.

Clarity arrived, peace arose and the fear entity and the person sat down and had a cup of tea! 🤣

And the entity cried at having felt so misunderstood..and apologised for being so mean.

So there you have it.
