Dana enjoys working with relationship challenges, resilience building, behavioural concerns, anxiety reduction and parenting challenges. She uses a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices and play therapy. She is also passionate about helping children and young people navigate their challenges through developing an understanding of themselves. Dana brings a wealth of experience from having worked in the roles of Teacher and School Wellbeing Leader.

Ned has more than 15 years of experience working in various mental-health roles. At Better Self Psychology, he sees adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship difficulties.

Our Story

Better Self Psychology is a friendly private practice that has recently moved to the Eastern Adelaide CBD. We’re a small but growing team with big ideas about mental health.

We offer individual therapy for children, parents and young adults from our team of psychologists. Our psychologists are clinically endorsed and have a minimum of 7 years training in addition to experience working in community, school and hospital environments. This allows us to focus on a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, developmental disorders and more.

We believe that good therapy doesn’t end with the appointment. We stay connected to clients throughout and use evidence-based interventions to achieve our goals.

We pride ourselves on going the extra mile and work with a network of like-minded health professionals to support families with their needs.
