Exciting News!
Absolutely thrilled to share that we welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Eddie James, just 3 weeks ago! 💙👶✨I will be on maternity leave for a few months to cherish these precious moments with my little one. Thank you all for your understanding and support during this special time. Looking forward to my return with a big year of all ready booked clinics, education sessions, support group guest speaking and regional events. In the meantime, take care and stay well.

Reflecting on an Amazing 2025! 🌟

This year has been an incredibly busy and successful year for my business and the stoma community. Celebrating 3 years in business.

Here's a quick look at 2025 highlights:
✅ Over 1,351 stoma reviews conducted across clinics and home visits
✅ 22 regional clinics successfully supported
✅ 8 "Thriving with a Stoma" education roadshows, reaching Ostomy communities including 7 in regional areas of South Australia
✅ Presenting at AASTN conference
✅ Delivered numerous staff education sessions in aged care and hospitals
✅ Invited Ostomy Company presentations to peers
✅ New support belt videos shot featuring my son Leo in his modelling era

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. To my patients thank you for making my job worth it. I’m committed to continuing stoma support, education, and innovation in 2026!

On Monday night, our nurses took part in an engaging Stomal Therapy Session with Amanda from Stoma Care Services.

Through hands-on learning (and a little play dough fun!), our team practiced creating stomas and fitting accessories— building confidence and practical skills to support our patients even better. 💙

Today I was honoured to join the celebrations of 65 years of the Ileostomy Association of South Australia. For over six decades, this organization has been dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals living with a stoma and their families. An incredible journey filled with remarkable people that make it all possible.

Celebrating 3 Years in Business! 🎉

I'm so proud of what I have accomplished since launching Stoma Care Services in 2022. To date, averaging 107 reviews per month, offering 3 regular weekly clinic locations, home visits, numerous education sessions and now 4 regional clinics.

It's amazing to see how far the business has come in this short time — full of progression, opportunities, and unforgettable experiences. Lots of lessons learnt and challenges but so thankful for support of my wonderful patients and Stomal Therapy community. Here's to another big chapter ahead with new ideas and opportunities. Highlight of this year sharing my business story at the AASTN conference in May (see photo).

Feeling incredibly honored to be invited as a guest speaker at the ACHA Colorectal Education session hosted by . It’s a privilege to share insights on pre-op counselling, stoma site marking, and managing post-op stomal complications.

Tonight’s session is particularly special as I was speaking alongside Dr. Shanthan Ganesh, a dedicated Colorectal Surgeon, and Tommy, a brave patient who has recently journeyed through bowel cancer diagnosis and treatment.
It was an engaging evening of learning and sharing.
