Sensitivity is a sign that the protective layers surrounding a tooth are decaying, if sensitivity persists or becomes acute a filling may be required.

With minor sensitivity common recommendations are to temporarily switch to a sensitive tooth paste, reduce acidic foods and drinks like soft drinks and try a soft bristled toothbrush, which can ease minor sensitivity in 2 to 4 weeks.

If sensitivity persists, book a check-up with a dentist, to professionally examine your tooth and provide treatment.

Looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our Incredible Smiles team at Seaford Meadows!

If you love helping people feel confident about their smile, enjoy working in a supportive team, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What we’re looking for:
🦷 Previous dental assisting experience preferred (but not essential for fast learners!)
🤝 A positive attitude and great communication skills
⏰ Flexibility to work casual hours
💙 Someone who enjoys creating a warm, comfortable experience for patients
