TTC over 35 often comes with an intense sense of time pressure ⏰

I see so many women who feel like they can’t afford to slow down. Which can lead to doing more, restricting more, and pushing harder than their body can realistically manage.

Fertility support at this stage isn’t about urgency alone. It’s about targeted support.

Supporting egg health means nourishing consistently, stabilising blood sugars, managing stress on the body, and protecting mitochondrial function - energy systems that help eggs mature and develop 🔋⚡️🥚

Often, taking a focused few months to support these foundations can be far more effective in the long run than rushing ahead while the body is under strain.

Age matters, but it’s never the whole story 🤍

Your body doesn’t prioritise reproduction when it thinks it’s under threat ⚠️

When the nervous system is stuck in fight or flight, resources are diverted away from ovulation, hormone production and cycle regulation — because survival always comes first.

And for many women trying to conceive, that “threat” isn’t one big stressful event.
It’s the constant, daily stressors that add up over time

😵‍💫never-ending to-do lists😵‍💫skipping meals or under-fueling😵‍💫high training loads with inadequate recovery😵‍💫over-reliance on caffeine to get through the day😵‍💫pressure to “do everything right”😵‍💫emotionally draining relationships😵‍💫demanding, high-stress work environments😵‍💫constantly feeling behind, rushed or on edge

Ovulation doesn’t improve in a deficit, hormones don’t thrive under pressure, and supplements can’t override a body that doesn’t feel safe or adequately nourished ❌

Yet so many women are told to simply “relax”, without being shown how to regulate, rebuild or restore what’s been depleted 😮‍💨

Fertility support isn’t about doing more! It’s about creating enough safety, fuel and consistency for the body to shift out of survival mode and back into balance ⚖️

Because when the nervous system feels supported, the body can finally focus on reproduction again 🙌🏽

✨ Less pressure.✨ More regulation.✨ Progress over perfection.

If this resonates, you’re not broken! Your body is communicating 💌

When I was trying to conceive, I thought I was doing all the right things….

Eating “clean”, training hard, pushing through symptoms. 🤦🏼‍♀️

What I didn’t realise was that some of the habits I thought were helping were actually working against my fertility.

The cost? Time, energy, heartache and trust in my body 💔

Irregular cycles, low hormone levels, and that exhausting question of why isn’t this working when I was told everything was “normal”.

The biggest shift came when I stopped trying to do more, and started listening to what my body actually needed.

For me, that looked like:

⭐️ Exercising in a way that supported my hormones
⭐️ Eating enough to fuel ovulation and cycle health
⭐️ Listening to symptoms instead of normalising them
⭐️ Getting personalised support instead of trying to figure it all out alone

This is what truly helped me transform my fertility and eventually hold my rainbow baby in my arms 🌈✨

I now see this same pattern with so many women I work with.

When the foundations are supported — nutrition, sleep, stress, gut and hormone health, cycles often regulate, hormones, energy and libido improves, and fertility feels less like a battle.

It’s not about perfection or pushing harder.
It’s about understanding YOUR body and what it needs, then building the right support around you.

If you’re struggling trying to conceive and wondering if you’re missing something, you don’t have to navigate this alone.

Recurrent miscarriage is often described as “unexplained” or “just unlucky” 😔

But in practice, that usually means the investigation stopped before the full picture was explored.

This doesn’t mean there’s a single missing fix.
And it doesn’t mean your body is broken.

It means fertility is influenced by many systems working together and some of them aren’t routinely assessed.

When I experienced my two consecutive miscarriages I was told all my tests were normal. But I knew things weren’t right. This is when I decided to do my own investigations and looked deeper into my gut health and nervous system. Both were factors impacting my hormones and fertility, that needed addressing with targeted interventions.

Once I uncovered what was hindering my ability to maintain a pregnancy, through comprehensive gut testing and a holistic approach, I went on to have my rainbow baby 🌈👶🏼✨

And you can too! 🫶🏼

These are just a few of the areas I commonly explore with clients who’ve experienced repeated loss.

If you’ve experienced miscarriages and still don’t have answers, you don’t have to navigate this alone.

📨 DM me “Hope” if you’re ready to stop guessing and blaming yourself for things you have or haven’t done. Together, let’s uncover any potential barriers to maintaining a pregnancy and reduce your risk of future loss! 🧡

Oestrogen dominance isn’t always about high oestrogen, and this is why it often gets missed 🧐

Oestrogen is essential for healthy cycles, ovulation, fertility and SO much more. But oestrogen imbalances can cause a range of reproductive, mental and physical symptoms, as included above 👆

Though oestrogen dominance is rarely about too much oestrogen being produced.

More often, it’s about how the body handles it - how it’s balanced, metabolised and cleared.

This is where so many women get stuck 😵‍💫

A lot of the women I work with are already doing “everything right.”

They’re eating well.
They’re taking supplements.
They’ve cleaned up their diet.

Yet their cycles still feel heavy, irregular, painful or completely draining.

That’s because food alone doesn’t always fix:
• Impaired oestrogen clearance
• An overloaded liver or gut dysbiosis
• Chronic stress suppressing progesterone
• Long-term under-fuelling
• Or underlying drivers that don’t show up on basic tests

So when someone is told everything looks “normal,” but their body feels anything but, that disconnect is real.

Hormone balance is about patterns, not just numbers.

Recognizing the signs and symptoms of oestrogen dominance and addressing the underlying causes is essential for optimising hormonal balance, reproductive well-being & improving your chances of conceiving.

💾 Save this post if it feels relevant to your cycle

And DM me “OESTROGEN” if you suspect hormonal imbalances such as oestrogen dominance and want support looking at your own patterns, without guesswork or generic advice. 💗✨

This is something I wish more women were told earlier ⤵️

If you’re noticing a few of these signs, low progesterone is often labeled as the culprit. So naturally, women start focusing on trying to increase their levels by taking things such as B6, vitamin C or asking their doctor for progesterone support.

But here’s the thing 📣Low progesterone isn’t something that suddenly occurs after ovulation. It’s a symptom of a deeper underlying problem.

And it’s not something you can fix in the last two weeks of your cycle 🔄

Progesterone is built months before ovulation and it depends on things like:

🥚follicle quality from earlier cycles (3months prior)
🦋thyroid function & hormones
⚖️blood sugar balance
🌱having enough of the right nutrients
🔥inflammation levels
😵‍💫nervous system + stress
🩸blood flow to the ovaries

Which is why so many women are told everything looks “normal”, while their cycle still doesn’t feel right 😥

If you’re trying to conceive and experiencing several of these signs, it could mean low progesterone, However, its this just a message of another underlying root cause, and that your body needs support.

👉Comment or DM me “SIGN” if you think progesterone could be an issue preventing you from conceiving, and let’s investigate WHY it’s low together 🤝💕
