Being active is one of the best things you can do for your joints and the rest of your body.

It is well known the benefits that can potentially come from playing sports, including improved heart health, a decrease in risk of diabetes and stroke, weight management, reduced blood pressure, stress relief, better sleeping habits, and an improvement in mental health.

Playing sports can also increase self-esteem, promote social interaction, and improve quality of life. But, it is also a fact that with sport comes to an increased likelihood of suffering a physical injury. And each sport has its own level of risk.
In Australia, sports with a high impact on knee injuries are AFL, soccer, Tennis, Netball, Basketball, and recently included in the list are Gym (training).

Knee rehab exercises aim to increase muscle strength, flexibility, and control. This helps reduce knee pain, stiffness, weakness, instability, and swelling caused by injuries,
By strengthening and stretching the muscles around the knee, you can reduce the forces going through the joint and improve stability.
Some of the most common problems that we are dealing with in-clinic are sprained ligaments, meniscus tears, jumpers knee, tendinitis, and runner's knee.
The location and severity of knee pain may vary, depending on the cause of the problem. Signs and symptoms that sometimes accompany knee pain include:
· Swelling and stiffness

During our lives, bad habits are creating such as slouching and inactivity cause muscle fatigue and tension that ultimately lead to poor posture. A constant slump smashes your inside organs together and makes it harder for your lungs and intestines to work. Over time, that will make it hard to digest food or get enough air when you breathe.

The best way to improve your posture is to focus on exercises that strengthen your core the abdominal and low back muscles that connect to your spine and pelvis.

5 tips that can help you to improve your posture

1.Straighten Up: Pretend you’re standing against a wall to measure your height.

3.Put your heels away for now. over-arches your back. That can change the way your backbone lines up and put pressure on nerves, which causes back pain.
