A wander through Centennial Park at this time of year brings a sense of calm and quiet reflection. As the seasons change and leaves fall, the gardens take on a softer, slower pace.

We welcome visitors to enjoy the peaceful paths and changing colours, and to take a moment to pause and breathe in the beauty of autumn.

You may notice more leaves underfoot as the season shifts. Our team will be working steadily to keep pathways safe and accessible.

A place for memories, today and for generations to come.

A memorial is more than a resting place, it's a legacy. It ensures your loved one’s memory remains part of your family’s story, creating a meaningful space where relatives can return to remember, reflect and feel connected.

Memorial renewal continues the connection for future generations, offering them a place to understand where they come from and honour the people who shaped their family.

On Anzac Day, we remember the Gallipoli landings of 1915 and honour all service people whose sacrifice has helped secure the peace we enjoy today.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

By Laurence Binyon

A big thanks to our local police and community members who joined us for Coffee with a Cop yesterday.

It was wonderful to see people coming together for friendly chats and meaningful connections.

We really appreciate everyone who took the time to be part of it.

We’re always looking for ways to care for our environment, reduce waste to landfill and keep our grounds looking beautiful. That’s why we have begun placing green organic bins alongside our red general waste bins throughout the Park.

By sorting your waste correctly, you’re helping us reduce waste to landfill and preserve this natural sanctuary for generations to come.

What goes where?
✅ Green Organic Bins: Real flowers, leaves, and Wildflowers Café takeaway containers and cups
🔴 Red Landfill Bins: Plastic wrapping, wire, elastic bands, plastic or silk flowers, foam & polystyrene

If you’re unsure, just check the signs on the front of each bin or visit our website for more information.

Thank you for helping us protect this special place we all share. 💚
