SA Death Festival 2025 is this Sunday!

Organised by Pure Land Home Hospice, a volunteer-run, not-for-profit offering free, community-based palliative care. This festival invites you to open your heart to conversations about life, death, and everything in between.

💫 A few things to know before you come:
• All sessions are free — gold coin donations are welcome but optional.
• Please only register for sessions you’ll attend (and cancel if you can’t make it).
• Be mindful of overlapping sessions and allow time for parking and check-in.
• Maps + info points will be available at Centennial Park on the day.

On this Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, we acknowledge the families who have lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, infant death, and other forms of infant and child loss.

Losing a child is a deeply personal and unimaginable experience and we stand with you in remembrance of the precious lives of little ones who departed too soon. 🕯

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time when people around the world pause to honour the little lives lost too soon.

On 15th of October, Red Tree Foundation is hosting a special free community event in a powerful show of solidarity - a chance to come together in remembrance, love, and support.

The Wave of Light event will illuminate the night for the little ones who are forever in our hearts.

With spring in full bloom, our Park is abundant with vibrant colour and fragrant blossoms and now is the perfect time to take a leisurely stroll through our stunning gardens.

October is peak rose season, and with over 7,700 roses and over 150 varieties in bloom, there is plenty to admire!

Explaining the loss of a loved one to a child can be very difficult. This book offers support and guidance when starting these sensitive conversations.

In recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day we will be giving these books away all throughout October.

The Art of Dying Exhibition by Pure Land Home Hospice is officially open and on display in our Jubilee Complex Foyer.

A unique exhibition, South Australian artists express their interpretation of death and dying through paintings, digital art, jewellery and decorative urns.

Viewings welcome weekdays, 9am-5pm and Sunday 19 October.
