I wondered where I'd be when I hit 444,444.. today was that day and it was so enlightening! π
Last year I wasn't making myself a priority, I struggled to focus to nurture myself when I was so consumed by everything else around me and the imbalance was shown in many ways. Emotionally I was a wreck, mentally I was scattered, spiritually I felt disconnected, physically I became drained and it took its toll.. A few days before my daughters birthday in June, I was taken to hospital by ambulance as I had overworked myself that much to the point of being found in shock and became unresponsive on my loungeroom floor, severely dehydrated.
It had forced me to slow down.
It had encouraged me to make myself a priority - as if you don't make time for your wellness, you'll be forced to make time for your illness.
It had created a spark to thrive, not survive.
It had pushed me into creating a healthier lifestyle.
It was a major stimulus for standing in my worth.
Tomorrow is my Sons first birthday party, and of course I only started shopping for everything yesterday as I tend to do, but this time I don't feel rushed, even though there's alot on my to-do list and more is added. I noticed today I feel a huge sense of peace, my thoughts are clearer and direction stronger, I'm getting it done. I am no longer carrying the weight of things I don't have the capacity for and I am going at my own pace. π»
I was driving home after a shop and a last-minute errand helping a friend and found myself feeling in awe of myself for the first time in a while, extremely proud of how I am navigating things lately compared to previously and a brief overview of what it took to get to this and takes to consistently work on in new ways as they unfold.. I looked down at the dash and was blessed with the synchronicity, so I pulled over to take a photo and continued on my travels feeling extra thankful for the universe and my guides for always showing support in the many ways they do! β¨
So this is your gentle reminder to be your biggest cheerleader, and know you've got a team with you every step of the way. To love unconditionally which includes yourself, to reflect and set things down as they arise so you can feel lighter, to go with your flow and pace. Be intentional about what matters to you and listen to your body rather than setting unrealistic expectations upon yourself. βοΈ π¦
There is always well-deserved credit toward Self to be acknowledged. Take the time to do so π
