Very excited to be on the panel at the next AMPHEaT event 'Eating Disorders: A Multidisciplinary Approach'.
Eating Disorders are complex, potentially life-threatening illnesses with significant medical and psychosocial consequences. They occur in males and females; in children, adolescents, adults and older adults across all socio-economic groups and from all cultural backgrounds.
A highly interactive session including a multidisciplinary panel
• Dr Jemma Elliott, GP
• Rhea Bergmann, Dietician
• Lily Robinson, Psychologist
Session facilitated by Dr Cate Howell, Medical Practitioner, Therapist and Educator
Learning Outcomes:
• Outline the features of main eating disorders (EDs)
• Generate an integrated treatment plan for a patient / client with an ED.
• Recommend key referral pathways.
