For the month of September, we are supporting Southern Koala and Echidna Rescue Ltd - Onkaparinga Hill (SKER)
They desperately need:
Puppy pads, Earth Choice Floor & Surface cleaner and Euca Eucalyptus Laundry Powder. The products contain eucalypt oil - no harsh perfume smells for the animals in care.
SKER runs the only fulltime wildlife vet clinic in SA - and specialises in rescuing and rehabilitating Koalas and Echidnas all onsite. Donations accepted at our centre Mon-Thurs 9am - 3.30pm and Fri 9am - 1.30pm.

I will slowly be migrating over to my other page.

I have officially started working at Soaring Together. I will be working in collaboration with Keiwan (very experienced OT) in writing dual FCA reports.

I am excited to build on my knowledge in working with Keiwan for wonderful participants and am excited to evolve my report writing skills with that extra perspective.

I am still available to support participants with social worker FCA reports as well so any future FCA referrals please get in touch https://www.soaringtogether.au/

I will likely still post some shares because it is still meaningful for me to give local community information. But if you want jump over and "like" my new rebrand business page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578323736939

Watch that space!

We are changing things up!

If below is you and you genuinely want to work bring your resume and cover letter outlining why you want to be apart of our team to the cafe in person. Be prepared for an immediate casual interview.

Unfortunately our cafe is not sustainable moving forward if we don’t find more staff very soon. I’m talking weeks! Don’t worry, the catering business isn’t going anywhere but if we don’t find staff the cafe doors will close.

Training provided. Family friendly environment. Award rates. Staff perks and the best coffee and food around!

If you are able to please donate or help out. I've sent a donation through today because I have such privilege when it comes to accessing period products for myself and my daughter.

Today the waves of tears keep coming.

My stomach churns as I receive request after request for bags this Christmas that we might not be able to fulfil without adequate support. Of course there's a logic to how we prioritise requests, but it gets increasingly hard to say there's no guarantee. Absolutely bloody heart wrenching.

It’s in the Bag began with the need to get Christmas gifts to women spending Christmas in a domestic violence refuge or experiencing homelessness. Now I receive daily requests...
Women leaving prison.
Girls coming out of the youth justice system.
New refugees with nothing.
Mental health units where women arrive with nothing but the clothes on their back.
The last few days I feels like the need is consuming me. It hurts my heart because I can’t say no. But holy hell - how can we keep up? We can only run one drive a year, yet the need is overwhelming.

I don’t have the answers. But I know I’ll die trying💔.
